Add a touch of Fiji to your home. This authentic hand-carved mask features Fijian designs, symbolizing strength, protection, and heritage. In olden days, such masks were used in ceremonies and rituals for protection, strength, and connection to ancestors.

The turtle symbolizes long life, protection, and a deep connection to the ocean. This hand-carved wooden turtle reflects traditional island-inspired artistry, carefully crafted to celebrate the beauty and spirit of the Pacific. Perfect as a meaningful gift or decorative piece.

The important tradition of mat-making in Fiji using woven fronds of pandanus palm also led to the making of other items such as hand fans. The Fijian word for a hand fan is Irubuli. These mini hand fans can be used as a home decoration.

The creation of Tapa is a popular art form found across many island nations of the Pacific. In Fiji, it is known as Masi and is traditionally crafted by women. Fijian Masi is made from the inner bark of the paper mulberry tree (Broussonetia Papyrifera).

The artists in Fiji make Masi using materials on hand and inspiration from their natural environment. Masi is made by stripping the bark from the plant and separating its inner white bark. It is then soaked in water to soften and beaten with a wooden mallet (ike). This cloth is decorated using natural dyes and stencils to create meaningful patterns.

Traditionally, Tapa Cloth or Masi was used in everyday life of a Fijian, from beddings, clothing’s to bandages etc. Today, however, Masi is used in special ceremonies like welcoming the birth of a child, wedding clothes, and for funerals.

A beautiful Fijian Art which can be part of your home decor or a gift for someone special.
